The world’s best cities for shopping
Whilst site seeing and relaxation are often top of anyone’s city break agenda, shopping is often a close second. Here is a selection of some of the world’s best cities to go to hit the shops.
London is known as housing one of the best selections of shops anywhere on Earth and is as popular with Britons as it is with the rest of Europe and beyond. The city’s markets like Brick Lane and Camden offer visitors a unique experience separate from the large department stores.
The world famous New York is arguably known as the world’s shopping capital and offers every kind of shop visitors could wish for, from the huge department stores like Macy’s to small independent boutiques. The city plays host to some iconic stores too, including the flagship Nike and Apple stores.
The USA also boasts a second great shopping centre in Los Angeles. The city is spread out and offers a huge selection of shops that will cater to every taste. Its excellent climate makes it a great choice for shopping all year round too.
