Cruise trends and fashions change quite often. Here are some of the cruises 2012 trends that are on the rise this year.
One of the hottest trends for 2012 is a rock ‘n’ roll cruise. Popular rock bands are appearing on cruises this year as part of the on board entertainment for the holidaymakers. Bands have included the legendary rockers Kiss, and Maroon 5. These stars have appeared on board to entertain the cruise customers for a once in a lifetime musical experience.
Another rising trend has been cruising in order to see the Northern Lights. More and more people are trying to get a sight of this amazing natural phenomena, which appears at very northern locations and lights up the night sky with brilliant colours. NASA has predicted that 2012 will be a particularly good year for seeing the Lights, and people are responding by choosing cruises 2012 to Norway and Iceland where the lights are more prevalent and are more likely to be seen.
New vessels are also in for 2012. A lot of the cruise companies are launching brand new ships this year, as well as in 2013.
